Elderly Crossing - Day

Medicine Hat to Waterton
Lakes National Park - 350km
Looked around Lethbridge
a bit, washed the Saskatchewan mud off the Bonneville, and visited the
Remington-Alberta Carriage Centre in Cardston which displays over 200 horse
drawn carts, buggies and wagons of all descriptions.
On the way we presented
the best looking elevator award to Agricore in Magrath.
Don Remington restored many
of the carriages during his 33 year long hobby.
He spent the most time,
1600 hours, on this Yellowstone Wagon.
Leaving Cardston we got
this first shot of the Rocky Mountains behind green and yellow farm fields.
Notice there is snow in the mountains on the right and snow is falling
on the left.
The Prince of Wales Hotel
is the landmark of Waterton Lakes. It was built during prohibition to service
American guests. It is said to house two ghosts. Ghosts and Indian legends
are a big thing here.
