Elderly Crossing - Day 23
Medicine Hat to Weyburn - 580km

After a short night's sleep we headed for Weyburn with a brief stop at the Briercrest Museum to pick up a copy of their history book. My grandfather ran the hardware store there in the early 1900's My father was the first baby born in Briercrest.

Most of the pictures we will show for the rest of the trip will be of unusual situations.

I did a double take when I saw this truck
coming along a railroad track pulling several rail cars.

Pellicans - yes Pellicans - they're back.
They are native to Saskatchewan.
I never saw any during my youth.
My uncle Murray didn't either.

Buffalo - they are back too. Steak anyone?

Looks like snow doesn't it. NOT. Its salt.
