OBITUARY Frances G. "Fran"
Douglas passed away peacefully at Trillium Retirement and Care Community,
Kingston on Saturday, April 10th, 2021, only 7 days away from celebrating her
100th birthday. Fran was a loving wife to
the late John "Jack" Douglas who passed in 1975. Dearest mom to
John (late Catherine) Douglas of Seattle, WA, USA, Susan Douglas of Toronto,
ON, Elizabeth (Bill) Doherty of Mount Forest, ON, Ian (Jackie) Douglas of
Guelph, ON and Scott (Linda) Douglas of Kingston, ON. Beloved grandmother to
Sarah (Bob) Rathburn of Seattle, WA, USA, Anna Douglas (David Jermyn) of Toronto,
ON, Brandon (Joelle) Doherty of Kitchener, ON, Shannon (Steve) Livingston of
Guelph, ON, Dillon Doherty of Richmond Hill, ON and Bryan Douglas of Guelph,
ON. Great grandmother to Brady
Rathburn and James Rathburn both of Seattle, WA, USA. Fran is predeceased by
her parents Neil & Rosetta (nee Wallace) Third. Predeceased by her
sisters; Eileen (Irv) Wigg, Laura Third and Jeanne (Don) Hunter. Fran served overseas in the Canadian Women's Army Corps during World War II. Due to COVID-19
restrictions the visitation and graveside service are private for family
only. Rev. Cathy Gradante
officiated the Interment at Burnbrae Cemetery Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 2:30
pm. The service was live streamed to 21 viewers at https://youtu.be/lRDgRSPUSdI and may
still be available for viewing. In lieu of flowers,
donations to the Burnbrae Cemetery would be appreciated by the Douglas
family. To donate to Burnbrae Cemetery, we accept only cheques payable to

Street, Trenton, Ontario K8V 1H2.
