Checked out of the Mountain View Inn, fixed a flat tire and headed west through the Rocky Mountains to the interior of British Columbia.  Intended destination - Kelowna. The higher we got, the deeper the snow.

There are many snow sheds in areas where avalanches occur regularly.

Stopped in Revelstoke to visit cousin Sandy and his wife Jane and sons Kerry and Nathan. They had just emailed me to say they were heading to Banff for a week of skiing. Too bad we missed doing that. They convinced me to change my destination from Kelowna to Kamloops because the skiing at Sun Peaks was better than Big White. They were right. Have a look at iSkier to see why.
